i get this error whenever im trying to register vbscript.dll . so i tried to download vbscript engine from microsoft.com again but i still get the same error. can someone plz help because this is causing many programs to not to run (such as WMP11!!). i tried the usual command through run and typing regsvr32 c:\Windows\System32\VBScript.dll but it says dll register failed.



p.s its not like i dont have the vbscript.dll (i found in system32 folder)

Ndude... I apologize on behalf of all of us. If you come back/see this you are correct -we dropped the ball. I can only say that out of hundreds of posts --we will miss one every now and then. How/why it happened --I've no idea. It is really quite rare that we miss one completely

Maybe someone should have picked this up, true...but if you post a request for HJT/Spyware help in the general XP/2k section and NOT in the HJT/Spyware section then it's likely it could be overlooked.
I would be far more worried about that comment if;

a) It were actually true according to the majority of our members
b) You were paying anything for the service..which of course you are not

Sure, we could have responded to you quicker and at the same time you could have posted your request in the right section. Would we want you to recommend the site based on your inability to follow simple posting guidelines? Probably not. Will this thread and your comments effect the teams attitude to helping you in the future? No, not at all.

I hope you find better support for your issue elsewhere and we hope to see you again in the future.
