I'd also suggest looking at WSUS (Windows Software Update Servers). It's supposed to roll out Windows Updates to each computer as they log on/off.

If you're running Windows Server 2k3 SBS, it comes tandard with that, but I think it's free...not 100% sure.

If not that, check out VNC - it's what I use at work - and we have something like...5000 computers we look after

I've just had a play around with the software...It will log on a list of computers fine - but won't let you take control of it to do anything like that.

I'd say do a bit of research into WSUS and VNC. VNC is good for taking control of the computer and updating windows. Easy to install remotely as well.
