I have Audigy 2ZS platinum sound card and use AMD 64bit CPU and my OS is 64bit XPpro SP1
Creative have a 64 bit driver but most of their applications fail. I have repeatedly emailed Creative for a solution, but no replies are fothcoming.

As I am proposing to go to Vista Ultimate 64 bit does anyone know of a sound card and software which is compatible?

Further I have graphics card nVidia 8800 GTX. I cannot find on their site if nVidia have appropriate Vista 32 0r 64 bit drivers. any advice welcome as I am building up a new computer with plug-in hard drives.

I'm not sure why your applications are failing.
I have an Audigy2 ZS, and for over a year i ran XP x64. Worked perfectly fine.

I'm now running Vista x64 - same sound card - Creative have drivers for this, and it works fine too.

nVidia drivers are available for x64 Vista, if nvidia.com doesn't have them - try nVIDIA Geforce 8800 8600 7950 7900 7600 GT GTX ATi Radeon 2900 x1950 x1900 x1800 1650 XT Pro - Guru of 3D: PC Hardware Reviews
