I have a Speetouch 716WL router with firmware version 5.4.0.14 which works fine, but I am told that version 6.1 is better., but equally I have been advised that it may do more bad than good.
1. Anyone had experience of 6.1
2. Can anyone explain how to upgrade, please. I have a CD 5.3.26 UK
I cannot get any support either from Speedtouch UK or Thomson UK

If you dont have any issues with the router - don't bother updating the firmware....
