Default [Resolved] Multple language toolbars - how to clear ?

Win Xp Pro machine on which I have just done a repair install. If I look at the task bar I see several dozen empty 'slots'. If I right click and expand the Toolbard submenu, I see "The language bar" appears several dozen times, all ticked. I click them but they don't go away. I can't find this string in the registry. How can I remove them ? They are taking up all the space that real programs should have. This only happens on one XP account. I have checked for spyware & viruses.
Thanks
BH

Hi

Try using the System File Checker:

I did this and really didn't expect any problems to be found as I have just done a repair installation, but it did ask for the CD. Alas the problem of the toolbar remains.

Hi eugeneg,

If you right click on one of them, go to Settings. Remove all languages except "United Kingdom". You may receive an error message the first time you do it, but continue until all that is left is a single langue. The language bar(s) should then dissapear.

All other languages removed, but the problem remains.
I think I have worked around the problem now by using the Files & Settings Transfer Wizard to stash the files (but not settings), then renamed the problem account, created a new account and ran the Wizard to get the files back.
Thanks to all.
