Welcome to PC Help Forum

Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this for you. Doing the following will help us diagnose the issue you are having...although from the look of the desktop, I feel the wallpaper, broken image at the top and the fact that the background of the icons are not transparent may have some bearing.

Right click on My Computer and select manage > event viewer > applications. Do you see any problems in there? If you do, please give us as much detail as possible...also check system in that location.

Default No More Windows Instalation Disks

that would be a nice trick, the problem is i lost my instalation disk for windows xp HE

Do you have System Restore enabled? You could always use it to "rewind" to a previous date...
