Is there any place that I can find out what HKEY's should be on my computer. Also will need to know how to get the missing ones there.

The 5 HKEY listings I have seen are HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, HKEY_CURRENT_USER, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, HKEY_USERS, and HKEY_CONFIG.

There is no place to get missing HKEYs short of a new Windows XP install, but if you are missing one, your computer wouldn't be running.

I run a register scanner. Before it listed several HKEYs as unknown threats. Now they are missing from the scan. I did not delete them. Wanted to know more about the HKEYs so that I could possible understand what happened.

That sounds strange. What registry scanner are you using?
