You can get it too boot Cd, buy getting into your BIOS or Setup screen, it is different on all makes its esc or F12 on a dell. An dthen you can change your boot sequence making CDROM first and you can disable the rest if you liek. Just write done the default order so you can change it, if you forget to write it down there is an option in setup two switch back to default though or there should be.

Thats all i can help with.

Boot into Windows XP installation menu. Then press F2 or whatever corresponding key to start Automated System Recovery. That might help. If not, then reinstall Windows XP.

yes... You can try running Microsoft Configuration Utility (msconfig), Registry Editor (regedit), or anything else you can think of. Try getting Tune-Up Utilities 2007, Diskeeper Pro, Registry Mechanic, or any other data software. Also, did you by any chance back-up your data at an earlier date when your computer was working fine??? If you didn't, then the only way to fix Windows is to reinstall Windows XP. May or may not work but give it a shot....

You don't need to know any commands. You just need to know how to read and follow directions.
