Windows XP/2000 - [Resolved] Great, another problem.. cd rom posted in the Operating Systems forums; I was trying to run a game today and It wasnt reading it at all.. I put it in and it wasn't making any sounds or anything like it was ...

Default [Resolved] Great, another problem.. cd rom
I was trying to run a game today and It wasnt reading it at all.. I put it in and it wasn't making any sounds or anything like it was even trying to read it.. i thought it was the cd being scratched so i cleaned it up a bit.. and still same thing.. so i tried every other game I have and NONE of them work.. it wont even begin to read Audio cds... so yeah.. i'd love to get some help

I have a Compaq Presario SR1803WM and im currently running windows 2000 professional.. help would be greatly appreciateed!

Theres a Yellow ! next to it and in the box below it says


This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

Click Troubleshooter to start the troubleshooter for this device.
