Welcome to the PCHF ericeongyk.

What version of Windows do you have? XP Home or XP Pro?

Ok, excellent...

This is a real easy thing to fix

Goto My Computer -> Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Uncheck Simple File Sharing
Apply and OK out of that window.

Navigate to the folders that you want to access and can't.
Right click on the folder and select Sharing and Security -> Security -> Advanced -> Owner -> Select your username and check Replace owner on subcontainers and objects -> Apply and OK out of that window.

You should now have access.
