Default [Resolved] Help- No Audio??

Hey all, would appreciate some help with a problem that has arisen on my Sony Vaio laptop!

Had problems throughtout the day with Virus issues and such else! Seemed to have fixed these problems through numerous methods 'Adaware' 'Spybot' 'AVG' and Windows Live OneCare!

BUT, now i go to play some music and i hear nothing!! So i go to Control Panel, then Sounds etc, then click on 'Adjust the system volume'!

When this opens the message 'No audio device' is there and all the checkboxes are grey and unable to be changed!

How Can i Restore MY SOUND? Has all the virus problems and clean up etc, caused my sound to be deleted?

All help would be great thanks!

Hi benjeboy!

It sounds like your sound drivers have gone missing. have you got the model name of the laptop for me so i can find drivers for it?

Thanks,
