Default Help!! Rundll Error?

Hey all, would really really appreciate some help with a couple of problems iam having!

When i turn on my laptop, and the desktop loads up i keep getting the msg RUNDLL 'Error Loading C:/Windows/System32/qqvfuxgc.dll Specified module could not be found'

Iam not a massive computer specialist so any help would be great!

Another thing last night whilst chatting on MSN i recieved a virus of some sorts which i have been tryin to sort all day! I have installed 'SPYBOT' 'AVG ANTI-SPYWARE' 'AD-AWARE aswell as my MCAFFE! My computer seems slightly slower than usual, and i keep getting some pop ups such as 'Winvirus' etc!

Would be grateful if someone could recomend a free, check and removal programme etc! And if someone could help me with RUNDLL error!

All help greatly appreciated! Cheers

The error can be a result of the virus, did you get rid of the virus is quarantened. You could aslo to a system restore. I have been using Windows Live One Care on one of my PC's and I really like it and it got rid of both Viruses I had, and stooped my PC from being so slow.

I will download Windows Live One Care, let that run and report back with the results! Does Live One Care, remove the problems aswell as just scanning for threats?

System restore? What does that do, and will it affect my comp etc?

Thanks

Yes Windows Live One Care Does fix the problems.

And doing a system restore can take you back to a point prior to when you PC was giving you problems.

I would however try and get rid of the virus first, and if you are still having problems do a system restore.

ribs has a point....however, in order to properly get rid of a virus you will often have to disable system restore as those restore points tend to also get infected and therefore using them will also restore the malware.

To have us check for any malware, please follow the instructions in the prework link in my signature. If you have any hangups on any of the steps don't hesitate to ask.

One question, do you have a Windows XP disk? We may need to use that later on.
