hey benje, I"ve got to step out for a few, but when I return I will happily parse your logs for you....If it is a csw variant, those are a snap to fix.....as for the google toolbar, you can leave it if you want.....a lot of machines come bundled with it, and that's one of the first things I rip off, as all it is is a process leech....but some people love it, so it's totally up to you....

back shortly,

thanks,

v

Thanks Valis.

Iam not getting the error message now on bootup, some of the scans and what not seem to have fixed that issue.

Iam though getting some annoying pop-ups, such as winantivirus etc. And my internet is slighty slower.

Did you find anything from my logs? Is there anything not quite right, which i can fix etc.

Thanks

ZOM13ie

This is a different error message to the one i was recieving, so the help ive recived maybe not applicable to your problem.

Valis.

Let us know what you find from my logs, if there is anything dodgy, would really appreciate your help in getting rid of it etc!

Cheers

let's try a vundo fix:

Please download VundoFix.exe
to your desktop.
  • Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
  • Click the Scan for Vundo button.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
  • You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
  • Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
  • When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
  • Please attach C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above
instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when
VundoFix appears at reboot.

hijackthis 1.txt

Attached new Hijackthis log. Would not allow me to attach a new Vundofix.exe log, when i ran C:/Vundofix.txt, it just came up with my previous vundofix and not the most recent.

Only problems i seem to be having now, are the odd pop up, whilst using the internet. And 'No audio device' message on the control panel, if i re-install the realtek drivers etc, it works then as soon as i turn off computer and turn back on i recive the message again and have no audio!

Any help for these problems would be great. Thanks for your help so far.
