when i turn on my computer i get a screen that says boot disk faliure insert disk and press enter i dont have the disk the computer is asking for because someone else built the computer for me so what should or can i do? another question i have is i installed itunes and limewire on before this happened they both worked for a couple of weeks but i am wondering if that is what caused this????? any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Fufu29,
Welcome to The PCHF!!

It sounds like there may be a problem with your hard drive, make sure that all the cables and power leads are properly seated on the drive and motherboard (MAKE SURE THE PC IS OFF BEFORE YOU DO THIS)
If the problem persists, let us know what make/model the drive is and we'll be able to point you in the right direction to test the drive
