OK-- after reading several of TD's own reviews-- I think I may have come up with something real-
Almost all reviewers of this kit from TD said to replace the stock
power supply-- which would explain a lot... why didn't I think of this right away ? I don't
know.
<smacks self in forehead -- and says duuhhh>
he had almost the exact same issues you have-- replaced the
PSU with a good name-brand unit... the thing booted right up. Unfortunately
PSU's that are "included" with cases are often junk-- and the
PSU is the foundation of your whole system-- if it's not right... nothing works.Even installation could be fouled by a weak
PSU-- yes I know it is rated @ 450W-- but since there are almost no standards for
PSU manufacturers to meet-- they can cut a lot of corners-- and do.
Hard Forums-- for overclockers/gamers
actually has a list of
PSU Brands to avoid... guess who's on it?
