Question Need help to reset BIOS password...Urgently!

I have a Toshiba laptop satellite pro and I forgot my bios password, can anyone help? I've already tried numerous backdoor password but no success and I tried unplugging the cmos battery but still nothing. But I'm gonna keep it unplugged for about 24 hrs just to make sure the board doesn't have complete power. But in the mean time I'm open for suggestions.

Hi marioc,

Taking out the CMOS battery doesn't always clear it. Please look in your manual and it may tell you there is a jumper you need to reset for this purpose.

Chris

IS that the full name of the notebook?

Look it up on Toshiba's website they should have the manual available for download.

I went to the website and it told me how to reset the bios password but I have to know the old one and if I don't know the old one then I have to take it to a authorized dealer. So I don't know, someone please tell me what I need to do.
