My computer was having a problem where it would re-boot every 30 sec. I tried re-loading XP. The first time, it shut off, 50% after copying files. The second time, it got to 25 min. left, "Installing Networks" or something, and it froze, so I thought if I rebooted, it would pick up where it left of, wrong! When it says "setup restarting", it loads, then I get a popup saying: lsass.exe- System Error

There is a possibility this is malware. It is well known. Can you check that it is Isass.exe and not Lsass.exe for me please.

If it is Isass.exe then please follow the PCHF Prework link in my signature and we will sort it out for you. You will need to reply back with the AVG Report, Spysweeper Log, and Hijackthis log.
