Default [Answered] Error Message

When starting my computer, as the desktop, icons, etc. loads and error message (I think to do with the registry) now pops up. This message reads:

Heading of the message: RTHDCPL.exe- Illegal System DLL Relocation

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\HHCTRL.DCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows sytem DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLLs should be contacted for a new DLL.

IF anyone has any idea as to how to fix that and rid of that error message that would be great.

Hi Slash8793,

I think I found the fix for the problem, smetihing to do with the Realtek sound manager using a portion of the memory reserved for the user32.dll file, you will find the fix here.
Let us know if this fix works.

also found this....am seeing a LOT of these cropping up, and had the opportunity to run the patch that radar tracked down, and it worked fine......thinking it may have something to do with the critical release MS pushed out, but not entirely sure.
