Ya...the first PC I ever owned had an overheating problem...I'd hate to have anyone try to tackle that the way I had too... It was a good crash course on Hardware though and I pulled away with enough experience to build my own PC after that so in the end i was pretty thankful.

You are most definitely welcome though.

thanks valis & double_a_ron! the first temp 71 came from mbm5, i tried following their settings i think i fell lost trying to follow their steps so i tried speed fan thats the result i uploaded.

when it locks up even the mouse freezes & the sound still keeps playing. i hope you can educate me im not really very familiar with this fans,im not sure what it represent. i already removed the side panel & i think every fan is running (power supply, processor, video card & even the small fan attached to the motherboard is running). & for quite sometime even when i shut it properly when i turn it on again it shows a blue screen for a while then it will restart. im not sure if theres something wrong with the specs of my pc so ill attached it may be it help you guys analyze it better.

again many thanks to you guys, your really very helpfull.....

Hi again Bluejeans.

Did you try taking off both side panels and running a regular house fan through it?

You might even want to remove the CPU fan while doing that but make sure you have a goooood airflow going through the tower.

Also try cleaning out any dust that may have accumulated on/in your fans and your Power supply, You should be pretty safe using a vacuum to suck the dust out from the back of the power supply but i don't recommend doing that on the insides unless you have a special anti static vaccuum designed especially for PC's and electronics... rather you can go and get a can of compressed air to blow the dust out of the tight spots. But make sure you follow the instructions on the air can (mainly so it doesn't shoot out liquid or something).

I'm pretty well as 100% certain as I can be without being there that you have an overheating issue. Can you find me the wattage on your power supply....I'd recommend making sure you have at least 500Watts, which should supply most PCs now with enough power with some future proofing...I myself only have a 420Watt and I run pretty good but it never hurts to have some headroom.

First thanks double_a_ron for all the help. i appreciate it very much! & yes i have tried removing both panels and definitely all the fans are working pretty well. i also tried a little experiment of my own regarding the speed fan software. I tried detaching 1 fan at a time & restarting my OS & speed fan. I realized that the 3 fans showing on the stats of speed fan represent the 3 available fan outlet on the motherboard board. the 1st fan was for the processor, 2nd is for the heatsink of the motherboard & the 3rd one is not being use thats why it shows its not working on the speed fan stats.

however, after reading some forums i understand that the freezing could also be cause of the motherboard battery. I also noticed that the os clock was always getting late. i've tried changing the motherboard battery & so far until now it hasn't freezes yet. i also tried some heavy games & so far it pass. everything is going well so far however the restarting issue i havent fix yet. everytime i open my pc it still keep on restart a couple of times before it eventually log on to os. hope you can give me an advice to this. again thanks for the reply! i've learn a lot.

Ok, and very interesting.

Now, does your machine only restart during the booting and loading process or does it ever happen while in operation, after you boot into windows?

Also, does this happen every time you try and boot windows? Most of the time? Only occaisionally?
