Windows XP/2000 - [Pending] I get this when i attempt to load a website.. posted in the Operating Systems forums; Any ideas? Avg spyware and virus scan comes up with nothing.....

Not sure, but looks like it was getting the info for the last page you visited and passing it on? Why? Don't have a clue
.Read it. Think it's keeping track of sites that link to him. bb

try this go to tool menu click options the click use default. close internet and reopen it is it still taking you to that page?

My homepage is fine, just if i try to go to another website i get that, after 3 attempts it allows me through.

I just downloaded Firefox, so technically i dont have the problem anymore, but i prolly still have the spyware/virus on my comp( which AVG cant detect for some reason).

we can check rather easily to see if it's spyware/malware related. Simply click on the prework link in my signature, follow the steps, and you'll come out the other end with 3 logs; a spy sweeper log, an AVG log, and a hjt log. Attach all 3 as text files, and I'll be more than happy to take a look.....dunno, could be be malware, could be something else, but I'd like to eliminate the malware part.
