Somewhere I read about way to label a flash or thumb drive(on the drive itself) and also how to print the contents or files on the drive. I lost the info and would appreciate learning how to do it again.

Ok you can print off a list of files on a usb drive, the instructions I found here are good,
to label/name a usb drive, right click on the drive and select properties,
on the "general" tab there is a text box that you can type the name/description in, click apply and then ok. That should do it.
