Default [Answered] WMP 11 Video Settings

I dont know whether this has been posted before, couldnt find appropriate search. But anyway i dont like that i cant get WMP 11 video settings to stay as they are, because i always have to change brightness settings to see nearly anything in greyscale shot film or dark shots.

Is there anything i can to make this stick

Thanks for any replies.

Hi stone,

What graphics card do you have? The settings for video overlay can normally be found in your display settings for your graphics card.

Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Hi Stone,

I was beggining to think you didn't want to talk to me!

Your overlay settings can be found in My Computer, Control Panel, Display, Settings tab, Advanced. Click on the Geforce tab, and select "Classic" if prompted. Under the category "Color Correction", change the dropdown box "Apply color changed to", from "Desktop" to "Overlay". Click on the Save As button to give your profile a name, and then alter your brightness and contrast as much as you like.
