Default Type of File - Search Companion - broken

When I do a file search from windows explorer and try to enter a file type in advanced search, the drop down does not have any file types in it. It only has one line which has in blue, "h.323 internet..." (I can't remember exactly and I'm not on that computer at the present).

I've tried to reinstall search companion, but that didn't help it.

Anything else to fix it?

Thanks,

Mark

hi mvstx, and welcome to the forum. check the location that you are searching and make sure you are searching the local disk. H323 is usually associated with telephony stuff, so I would imagine you are trying to search over the internet for something, as opposed to searching your hard drive. Try going to start > search and see what that does.

let us know what happens,

v
