Thumbs down AGP Video Card Won't Work

Ok, I built a PC out of Ebay'd Parts and I put it all together today in hopes of playing Oblivion. But of course something has to go wrong. So I put it all together install updates and such and lastly, Install My Video Card. It is a BFG 6000GT OTC AGP. When I try to install it like any other Video card, I get a "BSOD" Black screen of death . Will not detect. I have tried all of the following.
1:My PC has no integrated Graphics but I disabled and even uninstalled my old PCI MX 4000 Geforce Card.*Which works with the PC*
2:Tried various bios settings that also making sure the priority was set to AGP.
3:Pretty much anything that i've ever heard of specifically the obvious.

So right now I'm curious because ASUS Motherboards are a pain in the **** when it comes to installing AGP Cards so i've heard. My PC Stats are as followed.

1x Crucial Rendition 3200 184 Pin 1 gig Ram Stick *not Overclocked*
Windows XP professional
2.4ghz Processor *Not Overclocked*
Great Heating Sink and Temperature Control
ASUS Mobo Model: p4s800d-x

At this point I have no idea why it will not work. And I work with computers all the time so maybe it's fatigue or maybe I'm missing something but any insight would be appreciated. Thanks ~Opinical~

Howdy opnical.

Do you think the card is dead?

Try installing it again in safe mode.. Have windows search for new hardware and it should pick it up then Just install the display drivers nothing else..

I'm pretty sure it's not dead. It just refuses to use video. And if I'm not mistaken, if you set the AGP priority in your bios to agp and set the aperture to the correct amount you should atleast get video when you start up the pc. Just a thought I'll try the new hardware thing but I think it'll take something else. I'm hoping it's a weak power supply or maybe my power supply too old and underperforming. it has a max of 400W and I have a 680W Coming in this weekend. Thanks for the input and if anyone else or you have anything else I could be missing. I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks ~Opinical~

I heard that the AGP voltage is adjustable in that mainboard it may have somthing to do with the problem.
