Default Browser Problems

Hi guys,, ive been having some problems with IE7 over the last couple of days.
I use firefox most of the time,, but use IE when needed like when visiting MS update
and a couple of other sites that require IE.

I keep getting error messages like > > "Problems with this web page might prevent it from
been displayed properly or functioning properly"
And in the Details tab it's usually described as > > Error: Object Expected
I've enclosed a
screenshot below of the type of error i keep getting.
Thanks in advance for any help received...

Hi notech,

Try downloading the latest .NET framework, this should help you out a bit.

FYI. you can goto that part of microsoft via Firefox. The only part of MS that you need IE is the windows updates.

Hi there GaRHaR. . . .
I've updated to the latest version of .Net Framework (3.0),, but am still getting the same
errors as before along with some extra errors on most of the pages that im visiting
saying that the page contains "Both Secure and Non-Secure items"
I'm at a loss as to what the problem is,, and would greatly appreciate any further input
to try and solve this.
Oh,, and cheers for the FYI from above. . . .

Go into IE > tools > internet options > advanced > put a tick in both "dis-able script de-bugging" options.

Hi Hengis...
I've already got those two options checked mate...
From running tests on Langa's site,, im getting scripting errors
telling me that "A script on the page is causing IE to run slowly,, and if it continues
to run,, your computer may become unresponsive"
This has happened once or twice before,, but i never took any notice.
I'm half tempted to just reinstall it,, but would like to know what's caused the problem in the first place...
Cheers...
