Well this is actually a picture that I have taken with my digital camera. I am planning on posting it on the web, but the person on the picture only agrees to do that if I invert the colors and somehow make it so that non of the people looking at it will be able to put the colors back (for identity purposes).

Interesting requirement.

I think you could use one of the photo programs to do this. Adobe PhotoShop Elements, is a terrific, well rounded program. I found it for $27 at WebCommunitySoftware.

I think if you are planning on doing any more photo manipulation, you will find this program perfect for doing what you need.

Looking forward to your reply,

Yeah I actually love to mess around with pics all the time. So you really think I can do this with Adobe?

I will defenitly look into Adobe, it seems like really nice software.

Absolutely,

Especially if you like to mess around with pictures, you will really like this software. I have several versions, including the full on version of PhotoShop, and almost always use this one. My suggestion is that you also get a manual or book on using the program to get the most out of it, (unless of course you prefer to learn by trial and error, ).

I'm going to mark this one as Answered, please post back here if you have further questions about this.

We'll look forward to hearing about how you do, maybe you could post some of your photos?

Hey, I just found out that one of my friends has had this program for a while, and I never actually new about it. He offered me to go over his house and mess around with the program to see what it's like. Would you happen to know the actual steps on how to make the inverted color pic that I'm talking about?

Thanks

Hey Platinum,

I think you are going to have a lot of fun with this program. I believe that the pic you currently want to work on is a pretty standard digital color photo, and you want to mess with the colors etc, in order to obscure the subject, and add your own creative process to the finished work.

Here is something that I did in 30 seconds, first the original, then the messed with version.

This is just one filter that I applied, I didn't do anything except change the Neon color. Play with the filters, and tools and then you will have a better idea of what you want to do with the photo.

Looking forward to your reply,
