Default Restricting a user acount?

My freind sat up a user acount for his brother. Then he loged on there and found that he was vewing sites that were unapropreit. So he asked me how to set it up so he cant do this anymore. I know you can do it through the control panel, but his brother is smart enuff to go and reset things. So is there a way you can set it up like at school where you can barly do anything. At the computers at school you cant even find the control panel. This is what he would like to do, im also cerios on how to do this. Thanks i know you can help.

Hi justin,

At schools they normally use group policies within Windows XP Professional and separate server based profile programs. Like for example ranger, which applies restrictions etc. And then they have a separate filter for web content.

If using IE you could use the Content Advisor under Internet Options > content tab.

How do we know that you dont really want to know how to change the restrictions put in place by someone else?

I don't think that is a fair assumption to make giles. Plus we aren't telling Justin how to get round these systems etc
