Repair Install Question - Will it Erase Everything?

If I repair install XP, will it erase everything on my HD?

Hi Skooz

It's always a good Idea to back up any critical data...even if you're not planning on reformatting or reinstalling your OS.

A repair install should leave your data intact. Though you may have to re-install some programs as I'm not sure if it will re-write the registry or not.
