Default [Answered] Outlook Express

Hey guys, I have a problem with Outlook Express. I don't really know how to set it up, but somehow I did, not sure if it's right or wrong though, but everytime that I trie to send a message I get a Error message saying, "Some error occurred while processing the requested tasks"

then details say

"The service is currently unavailable. Try again later. Account: 'Hotmail', Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Server Response: 'Service Unavailable', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 87, Error Number: 0x800CCCF0"

is this a free hotmail account?

I believe with the free accounts they do not allow you to use a client via POP.

Depending on when you got your hotmail account. Some of the older users like me could, but I would rather use the webmail version than Outlook Express, just makes more sense to me.

Newer users are usually not allowed to use Hotmail with Outlook Express for fear that they might use it to be a spammer.

You could switch to Gmail (www.gmail.com) they have instructions on how to set up your account with Outlook Express if you really want to.
Also, your ISP might give you the option to a free email address through them, but the problem with that is that it's not nearly as portable as a webmail account is.
