PS: I have Norton, AD Aware, and spybot ... nothing is picked up but one thing though. Norton can't scan boot record? Maybe a virus there? How do I check me boot record for virus.

I don't know this as I have never seen this b4 in my whole life. While working on me pc a popup will come and say. NT Admin Shutting PC down in 60sec, plz save all work. Err 208...?? Plz help me fix this as it's annoying.

I know how to suspend this countdown, please follow these steps: 1. start 2. Run 3. type in shutdown -a 4. Hit enter. I have sent a PM to a tech team member to have a look into this, it could be malware like you said. Chris |

cannot find the file "shutdown" (or one of it's components) make sure the path and filename........ |

I believe it should be done before it comes up, but you could try it when it is up. Make sure you type in exactly this without the quotes "shutdown -a"
