Default [Fixed] Videos are dark o.o

Hi (again )

For some odd reason, when I watch video with WMp11 they're always extremely dark. I tried looking for options in WMP11 to fix this but didn't find anything that helped :S

Hrmmm....tried updating codecs? Tried other software? Video card drivers?

I had the same problem a little while ago, and I fixed it by going to Nvidia Control Panel, then went to Video & Television and checked the color settings.

This I guess goes if you have an Nvidia video card, or using Nvidia control panel

That would be your monitor. I would assume your monitor is a CRT monitor that is several years old?
For some reason, anything encoded into NTSC will not always show on an older monitor when the cathode ray tubes are beyond their useful life.
