Could someone explain how I could have fuzzy-looking icons on my Quick Launch toolbar when the icons on my task bar seem to be sharp and clear? I recently had several things on my laptop repaired because it was still under warranty. They sent it back to me with a new hard drive installed. I have no idea where my old hard drive is with all its' settings, files, documents, emails, etc. It's a very long story as to why I didn't have a copy (I did have my documents and favorites but all my emails for the last three years are gone). Not to mention, someone (a computer tech at that) has access to my hard drive and could be doing all sorts of things to me).
Anyway, I'm trying to reset my display to its' former appearance and may have inadvertently messed up a setting.
If you have any suggestions, you will have to explain as if to a 4 year old. I am not computer savvy at all.
Thanks, treedty

Hi there and welcome to the site!
Can we try a little test to see if it is a part of your screen that is "out of focus".... Right-click any blank portion of your taskbar.
To re-set the taskbar, just do the reverse of above.
