i got a 4GB ipod nano, i had itunes on my pc and everyting was fine. I had to format my pc, so therefore itunes was deleted, after the fresh install of XP, i reinstalled itunes, but now when i connect the ipod, i canot see my songs in the library and i cannot add more songs to it. I get the following message when i connect the ipod to itunes "The ipod is synched with another itunes library. Do you want to erase this ipod and sync it with itunes library. An ipod can only be synced with only one itunes library at a time. Erasing and synching replaces the contents of this ipod with the contents of this itunes library"
Obviously i dont want to do that as i will lose about 2Gb of songs! is there a way i can get it all back to how it was before without erasing everything on the ipod?

Open iTunes. At the top, click Store, and go to authorize computer. Authorize it for your iTunes store username and password, and then go through to the iTunes Store and re-download anything you have on your iPod that came from there.

Next, you need to put in all your CDs and rip all your old CD music into the library. Go through your iPod and set up the playlists and such exactly as it appears on the iPod.
