Default run time error 70

hi
i have a problem when i try to use the recovery programs cd
in my laptop sony vaio grt816m
after the first window by clicking continue
i get a smaller window VRU run time error 70...access denied
i call sony's help line...and ......nothing!!!!!hhaha
but they didn't seem to know a lot...realy
i copy the cd into another dvd and it works
the problem is thaT after the restart i don't get the easy procedure
with the 5 steps that brings at the 'format'
but i get a dos thing ,with a lot of lines.[Y,N]..things
that i don't realy know what to do..
i used regcure...registry smart...and other programs for fixing the error
AND only after registrysmart and for ONLY 1 time it worked...
i got access...after that i tried to restart and nothing...the 2nd time i got the same message...runtime error 70.........
i think that the original cd is damaged
but i dont know what to do..and maybe how can i copy it so it can work...
CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?????
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION.

Welcome to PCHF - if you are trying to access the CD from within Windows then try it whilst you are logged in as the Administrator, not a user account with admin permissions.
