Angry [Fixed] broken font, help please

Suddenly, all my drop down arrows look like boxes. Examples below include my RSS reader, MSConfig, and my chat client. Any idea what font this might be and/or how to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the site

A couple of things to try;

1) Click on the System File Checker link below in my signature, and follow the procedure
2) Update your graphics card drivers
3) Change your XP theme to Classic and then back to Windows XP default

Thank you SO much Hengis. Though I did not try steps 1 and 2, because the moment I read your reply I remembered I had recently changed my theme via Window Blinds. The first thing I tried was changing to a different theme and it worked. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

Sincerely,
Heather
