hi folks
Ive got usb2 and firewire PCI cards which are working fine (with some hardware like video camera and scanner) but when I try to use Ipod or my external hard disk, I get the dreaded delayed write failed message. I have tried several fixes and tricks from forums but nothing seems to work. Someone said maybe my motherboard is too old? I have to use USB1.1 with my hard disk which is painfully slow but at least reliable. Should i try a new USB2 pci card? or do i need to bite the bullet and get a new PC?
any help much appreciated, my pc details are on the dropdown
cheers
rob

Get yourself a pci USB 2.0 card it's cheaper than buying a new pc. You can pick up a card for about Oz$10.00 so it will be around that price in €'s, or what ever you use in the UK now...
