Get a good firewall and nobody can really do anything without your consent.

Hi platinum.

Your IP address is your identifier on the internet - you're the only one wth that particular one at that particular time.

Many bad things can happen, such as spyware and malware. The best way to protect yourself is don't download anything from P2P programs such as Limewire. And make sure you have a good Firewall program, such as ZoneAlarm.

Well my IP never changes. I only have the windows firewall and McAfee running to protect my PC, is that enough? Others have tolled me that if I really want to hide my IP from others, that a program called IP Hider would do it. What do you guys think?

Yea...that's not really true...
Go here...https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2
Run the port scan on your computer and it will tell you how vulnerable you are.

I just ran that test and it said that I passed perfectly, should I not be worried anymore?
