Cool [Resolved] Weird Problem!!!!!!

I was burning a backup disk of my documents in nero, and the power started to jump, the lights went off and then a second later it came back on. The computer booted up again, the dvd-r disk was messed up. Now this is the weird part - Later on i went into my docs, my music and all the folders were blank, the pictures were there on the folders but the text of the name of the folder in my music was all gone. I think this may have been where it was at when burning in nero when the power went.
Anyway I tried re-naming those folders and still it displayed no name-just the folder image, all the songs and other folders inside them were fine and normal with text underneathe them. I cut and paste the whole folder to the desktop, and it worked the names of the folders showed up in my music! But when i put it back they were gone. I changed the name of the my music folder to my musics and it worrked-they showed!!. This was all fine untill when i went into my documents through my computer then my musics-only it was my music?-i had just changed it? and then only two folders showed up with the names underneath, with nothing in them. Strange?

I hope this all makes sense to you-sorry i have no pictures of when it was displaying no folder names.

Jake,

Ive got it back to normal now after lots of changing, deleting, re-naming, etc.
I don't think the problem was spyware or a virus.

Anyway thanks GaRHaR
