Default Windows won't startup

Hi all,
while I was trying to install a game(Neverwinter 2) on this pc the dvd drive started making a noise. I took out the dvd and tried to cancel the install but it wouldn't do anything. Ctrl alt del didnt work so I pressed the reset button.

After that windows wont startup. They go up to the progress bar animation and then I get a black screen and nothing happens.

So I tried safe mode which stopped after loading some files and didnt boot in windows afterwards.
After a few tries I found out that by booting in safe mode and pressing esc when it tries to load the d347bus.sys file(you get a small prompt at the bottom) it actually boots in safe mode, so I managed to post this :P
Any idea what the problem could be?

Please if you can reply soon because I wont be here for more than a day or so.
Thanks alot.

Any bsods?

Also did you try Last Known Good Configuration on the safe mode select menu?

Hey there ,

do you remember installing Daemon tools on the pc as that's what d347bus.sys is.

Ok now I started looking around and found that it has been semi-installed. I cant find the game in the programs in start menu but I can find it in add/remove programs. When I tried to remove it from there I get following errors
[img=http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/5679/errorcq2.th.jpg]
after pressing ok I get

Oh and yes, Daemon tools has been installed on the pc for a year now or so

Ok ,

could you try uninstalling Daemon Tools, then try booting into normal mode?.

Bugsey.
