Default Hi & IE Shortcut help needed!

Hi there, Im new to the forum,

I just wanted some help with a question I have, if possible.

Basically, my friend created an Internet Explorer shortcut in notebook i think, for some images of mine. He put them in a folder which he named f:\\\ something or other.

i cant find this folder on the computer. there is no f: only c: and d:

has the file been hidden? i have attempted to reopen the shortcut through this link but it says that it is unavailable.

any help is much appreciated!!

Welcome to the site twentyone,

If the shortcut is showing as a drive that physically doesn't exist on your PC then my guess would be that he/she had a USB stick inserted at the time and the shortcut refers to a file on that stick, not your PC. Was it your USB stick?
