Default Webcam Problems(believe its XP related)

this may be the wrong place to post this, sorry is its in wrong place.

I recently reformated my computer and put on a windows XP, Stripped To The Bone. i got all my stuff back that i wanted but one thing still doesint work. my webcam, when i install my webcam and try and let someone view it, all they see is white (all i see is white) and after the installation of the cam it trys to install this "logitech microphone (messenge)" and it always cant find the drivers and sais the installation is currupted, even when i downloaded the installation. i checked the device under device manager and it has a yellow "!" next to it. Anyone have any idea how to fix this??

Hello ExplicitMarine.
Did an installation disk come with the camera, or are you using the installation you said you downloaded? Was this updated drivers for it that you downloaded? Something could have gone wrong with the download, it happens . Try going to device manager, right click on the camera, and select uninstall. Reboot and let windows redetect it, and reinstall the drivers for it. If that doesnt work, maybe try downloading them again.

what i tryed to say in the explaination was i tryed both the CD and the installation from there website, its a Logitech Messenge cam. and it keeps having an error with this thing called "logitech microphone (messenge)" when it finds the cam when i plug it in...my guess on the situation is, because im useing Window Stripped to the Bone, it MIGHT be missing something that this cam needs...altho i never took the time to check what exacly STTB removes from XP.

Default The Full Run Down!!!

Folder with screen shots to help -> http://XplicitMarine.com/drew/CamProb.zip

THE FULL RUN DOWN OF THE SITUATION! WOO!

CamProb01 - This picture shows my Device Manager where i see 2 errors "1" is cam related and 2 is unknown and 3 is the cam itself.

CamProb02 - This is the installation from CD or downloaded, both succesful and i see no problems (useless picture)

CamProb03 - Running the cam on MSN, and yes i HAVE tryed the logitech trouble shotter and it sais working but it shows white. this cam was working before i reformated and works on other computers.

CamProb04 - This is where i sence the problem is, Altho it sais "Microphone" its part of the cam, and i believe if i fix this, it will fix the cam, When i unplug and delete the cam from my Device Manager, when plugged back in it finds the cam, starts to install the cam, (little things pop up in the corner of my screen that cant be screenshotted) and then this random error pops up.

CamProb05 - over in screen B lol, is when i click continue and it sais cannot start hardwar, blah blah you can see it yourself.

CamProb06 - This si where i fail, its asking for some kind of driver, its not the CD and nothing thats on my computer, i was thinking MAYBE its something windows Stripped to the Bone has removed, but i dont know.

CamProb07 - This is where it tells me my device will PROBABLY not work correcly (and it doesint) then it asks if i want to continue, when i continue it installs the few files and the error pops up again...from here it just loops back to A.

I hope this layout of discription and screenshots help anyone help me with my problem, thank you
