Default [Answered] Remove IE6??

Hi there..

I have recently installed Mozilla Firefox and after testing it for a couple weeks have decided to keep it as my permanent web browser.

But i am now stuck in removing Internet Explorer 6. I previously had IE7 but i uninstalled that with Add/Remove Programs. Seeing as IE6 isnt on the Add/Remove programs dialog I was wondeing if there was a way of removing it. I have tried looking in the Installation Folder for an uninstaller for it but there isnt any

Have searched the internet of numerous ways but they seemed to be all for windows 2000 and below wereas I am running Windows XP SP2.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

If i was you i would keep IE6 as you still need it for Windows Update but if you must remove it:

1. Go to Start.
2. Control Panel
3. Add/remove programs
4. Add/Remove Windows Components
5. check Internet Explorer
6. And follow through in removing it

Chris

Edit: Adrian there is
