Windows XP/2000 - xp help and support file posted in the Operating Systems forums; Greetings, I can't open the help and support in Win.XP pro...I have gone through the registry and App Paths..the HelpCtr.exe file is there.. also have run regsvr32 ole32.dll...hhctrl.ocx...itss.dll...jscript.dll... vbscript.dll...and helpctr.exe ...

Greetings,
I can't open the help and support in Win.XP pro...I have gone through the registry and App Paths..the HelpCtr.exe file is there.. also have run regsvr32 ole32.dll...hhctrl.ocx...itss.dll...jscript.dll... vbscript.dll...and helpctr.exe -regserver...Still can not access the help and support..? any help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to PCHF wwjd!

My advice would be to stick in your XP Cd (then re-boot the PC) and press R for repair. Do you have a full xp cd or just recovery? If recovery i dont think you can do that.
