Unhappy Very long boot time...

For the last year or so I have found the boot time to be very long - between 4 and 5 minutes!

On the advice of a knowledgeable friend I downloaded BootVis to try and find where the problem lies - but I can't interpret or even find any results from this!

There's obviously something going on - a blank blue screen appears at one stage for a couple of minutes, a black screen with cursor for some time, etc - but I really don't know how to find and fix this aggravating problem.

Grateful for any pointers!

Hi datastream,

Most causes of slow logon times is due to a few simple tasks not being undergone.

Can you please follow the prework link in my signiture, and post the resulting logs?
