Default Boot Problem

Hey guys I just got done installing Vista after partitoning my drive, but now I can't seem to log on to XP anymore. When the Pc starts up I have no choices other then just start up Vista. I finally found a way to start XP from Vista. The computer restarts so that it can load up XP, then the screen just stays black. I hear this little loading sound from the tower then it freezes on a black screen, before I can get to the Loading Screen of XP. It lets me go into the menu when hitting F8, but none of those choices on there work, after I choose Safe Mode lets say, it starts to load then freezes again. I have tried loading Default Bios then restarting and still get the same thing. Another problem I have with this is that after choosing to start XP, I can't get back to Vista without having to totally re-install vista. When trying to load up Vista I get a freeze on "The Pc could not read the drive, press CTRL ALT DELETE, to restart. Do you guys have any ideas on what could be going on?

XP and Vista are both on a Primary. I found a way of seeing the XP part of the drive, but that is all I can do, only look at it. I can choose to start XP, but it just freezes when trying to boot up.

Boot Magic has created this small drive where I can see that the XP partition is there still. I don't know if it's possible to do something on there to make XP boot up.

Anyway of me reparing the problem, or should I just go ahead and Restore the whole thing?
