Oh yes, definately a Terminal Services problem on the server dood!

First of all check this Microsoft Article: "The RDP Protocol Component "DATA ENCRYPTION" Detected an Error..." error message , and this one: Because of a security error, the client could not connect to the Terminal Server

Also, make sure your running Service Pack 2.

in the microsoft instructions it sais delete the following values :
•Certificate•X509 Certificate•X509 Certificate ID
i only have certificate in the registry. so should i then go ahead and delete certificate and not worry about the other two

Also in (Default) of the registry entrys (also in the same place as the entry certificate) shows value not set. i have atached a screenshot.

thnx

Yep, thats fine. It's only the "Certificate" one you will need to delete, ignore the rest (Default, ServiceDll). Also before you delete, make sure you right click on that key and export to somewhere you will remember. This will give you the option to re-import the if you need to in the future.

I'm guessing that the reason why you want a web interface, is to make it real easy for everybody to access without the need for them to install anything on their PC's?

Everything such as CITRIX NFuse, are all based on IIS. I'm not aware of any others, but I can provide you with some links for some free remote desktop support software?
