Default Computer keeps getting stuck!! Constantly!

Hey Guys,

Our Home PC keeps regularly getting stuck, after a period of time when the computer is not in use the screen just freezes and the mouse cursor sticks! We have to frequently just turn the power off at the mains to shutdown the PC. Does anybody have any ideas what could be causing these problems? I would be really grateful for any help!

Thanks

Hi,
Click Start, Settings, and Control Panel
Double-click Power Options
Uncheck the "Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby" option.
Click Apply and then Ok.

Also, in "Power" - dis-able any standby settings and go to the Hibernate tab and make sure it's dis-abled.
