Default Help with Adobe Reader download.

Hey guys,

I went to download Adobe Reader 8, and it downloaded 'Adobe Download Manager' which probably downloads Adobe Reader 8 for me.

When i go onto Adobe Download Manager a box comes up saying Download Later or Download Now, so i click download now and an error comes up saying :-

Runetime Error!

Program: ...am Files\Common Files\Adobe\ESD\AdobeDownloadManager.exe

abnormal program termination

Anyone know whats going on with it?

Thanks.

Just looked in add/remove, and there is two there -

J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10

So i have got the new one but whats the Update 3 about, could it be conflicting with the new one?

It could well be Selwood, I'd dump the update 3.
