Default Win XP gets stuck when loading up.

Today I started my computer like I always do, but when it got to the loading section with the little bar under the Win XP logo starts spinning back and forth it didn't stop.

I get no error, no restarting, no messages its just stuck there, and it refuses to load up windows. Only way to get out of it is to restart and there it's stuck again. My only solution to enter WinXP atm is in Security Modus where it works perfectly. I' really need some guidance to sort this out, cause I have absolutly no Idea what to do. Yesterday it worked perfectly with no problems at all, and today it can't get passed the loading.

I've already tried to load it up for nearly 2 hours and still no good.

System : Win Xp Home Edition
Ati Radeon X800XT
3.6 Ghz
2048 Ram¨

Would be greatful for any replies.

Try this;

Start the PC > keep tapping F8 as it starts > at the "Safe-Mode" menu screen select "Last known good configuration" and let Windows load. Let us know how you get on.

Hi newb, can you tell us your interpretation of Security modus please.
You say that when you enter Safe Mode it's "Same there", what is?

Theres nothing wrong with Safe Mode. Windows is refusing to get past the loading screen and continues to load forever. I'dont know what you mean with "interpretation".

I wan't to know why this is happening, and if theres any solution to fix it.

Thanks for replies.
