Default [Answered] Small Problem with Crtl+Alt+Del.

Just wondering is there a way to go back to the Crtl+Alt+Del brings up Task Manager instead of bring up another window that has "Shutdown" "logoff"..etc because every time i press Crtl+Alt+Del and it makes the taskbar and everything dissappear and then a window pops up with all the things i mentioned above. ...im sure this is because i might've made multiple accounts before but now i only use one. Is there a way to go back to the Account-less (also because everytime i start-up comp it goes to a login window where i need to press enter.) and also to get rid of the 2-click/press-task manager problem. Thanks in advance.

go to start > run > sysdm.cpl > computer name > click the change button on the bottom and tell me if you are in a domain or a workgroup.

found a fix.

Select Run… from the start menu and type ‘control userpasswords2′, which will open the user accounts application. On the Users tab, clear the box for Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer, and click on OK. An Automatically Log On dialog box will appear; enter the user name and password for the account you want to use.

let me know if it works for you or not.

thanks,

v

does the fix only work after reboot? because after pressing Crtl+Alt+Del, the window still popped up.
